The Art of Carol T Moore - Bio

Carol uses a variety of media which include Oils, Pastels, Watercolors, and an new technique Clay Printing. Her paintings are infused with high energy and vibrant colors. Carol applies her eclectic style to a wide range of subjects including nostalgic memories of her days in New Mexico.

Carol taught pottery classes for several years at Northwestern Connecticut Community College and has opened Pot's & Paints Studio in Bantam, Ct. where she offers pottery classes and a place to show and sell her art. She enjoys exploring various mediums in pottery experimenting with raku, pit firing, pueblo style pottery, textured planters and traditional glazed ware.

Carol has received numerous awards and prizes and her works are displayed in collections throughout the United States. She has a MA from Wesleyan University , attended the University of Hartford Graduate Studies Art Program, University of Connecticut and Northwestern Connecticut Community College. She is a member of Artwell, Inc., Kent Art Association, Washington Art Association, Watertown Art Association, Connecticut Pastel Society, The Rogues and the Connecticut Cactus & Succulent Society.

Carol has done 2 Avon Breast Cancer 3-day walks for charity.
